I came upon a street fair on Smith Street in Brooklyn last weekend. They pop up here and there in the summer, usually with booth after booth of tube socks for sale and arepas to eat. This one was a little different:
this looks like it was fun! i especially like the shot of the baskets. the colors look so washed out in a rad way. something about that shot reminds me of this one by jon: http://www.flickr.com/photos/yonajon/2570045454/
the colors are obviously more vibrant, but they're both interesting examples of cultural commodities using broad color palettes... or something...
